Gentlemen:
We hereby petition and recommend to the City Council
that an ordinance be passed raising the salary of R. W.
Sturch as Municipal Court Clerk from 050 a month to $75
a month with the entire salary to be paid out of fees
collected through the Municipal Court. In this way if
sufficient fees were not collected to pay the $75 per
month the proposed increase would not cost the City or
the County anything. On the other hand, if fees were
collected, he would be enable to draw this increase
and we feel that this increase is well deserved on the
basis of the amount of work he does.
