Section 1. That Section One (1) of Ordinance I' o. 653 of the City of
a.testi il.le, Arkansas, adopted on november 22, 1955, is hereby anended
to read as follows:
That the duly elected City Clerk of the City of Batesville, Arl.ars as,
be and such officer is hereby designated and constituted as Ex -officio
'. unicipal Court Clerk of -the � unicipol Court of Batesville, rk .ns as, and
shall perform all duties incident to such office. As Ex -officio Clerk of
said Court, said officer shall receive an annual salary of iivelve Hundred
Dollars (',11200-00), payable exclusively out of the fund and "Account" here-
inafter set forth. Such officer as City Clerk and Ex -officio I:unicipal
Court Clerk shall, for each tern of office, execute and provide a bond,
conditioned on due and faithful performnce of all the duties of said
offices and the proper accountim, for all. funds than.- rlay come into his
rands, in the sum of Three Thousand Dollars (� 3000.00), dth surety thereon
a corporate boncin; corimny dul; autriorized to do business in the State of
Arkansas, and s; d City shall pay the preriium on such bond.

after January 1, 1959,
