BE IT ORDAINED BY TH-' CTT' 0,01NCIL OF THI CITY OF BATESVILLE, ARK.
Section 1-- That the M4ssouri Pacific Railraad Company and Lynn.
Lanier d/b/a Lanier Feed Mill, Inc. of Batesville, Arkans,s be and
are hereby granted a right of way over and across Ramsey Street in
the City of Batesville, Arkansas, for the purpose of constructing
and maintaining a spur railroad track to the premises and building
located just south of the present railroad crossing on Ramsey St.
Said spur track to run in an Easterly to Westerly direction to
the site of a new feed mill buildlthng under construction presently.

Section 3 --It is ascertained and declared that the grantees herein
are in great need of said right of way which if not immediately
:ranted will servously impede the industrial and business advance-
ment of said City, and thereby endanger the life, health. and safety
of its inhabitants. It is therefore declared that an emergency
exibts, that this ordinance is necdssary for the immediate preser-
vati.on of the public peace, health and safety, and that this ordi-
nance shall take Affect and. be i_n full force from. and after its
passage.
