ORDINANCE NO. �� >
WHS.-SEAS, the General Assembly of the State of Arkansas has en-
acted, "THS' ARKANSAS STATE PLUMBING CODE", which Code is more
techinally known as Act 200 of 1951 as ammended by Act 372 of 1957
and as ammended by Act 555 of 1963, and;
WHFR;PAS, said code provides for the licensing of plumbers, the
supervision and inspection of plumbing and for the adoption and
enforcement of minimum, uniform standards of plumbing and;
WH --C AS, there exists in the City of Batesville, a great need
for the licensing of plumbers, the supervision and inspection of
plumbing and a great need for the adoption and enforcement of mini-
mum, uniform standards of plumbing and;
WH'R'AS, the City of Batesville has, within the time required by
law, given notice in local newspapers of its intention to adopt
The Arkansas State Plumbing Code and has caused three (3) copies
of said Code to be placed in the City Clerks office for the in-
spection and review of the general public, and;

OF HATF3VILL , ARKANSAS:
(1)That The Arkansas State Plumbing Code as the same is cited above,
be and the same is hereby, adppted by reference and shall be in
full force and effect from and after the passage of this Ordinance.
(2) That there is herehv found and declared to be an immediate need
for the ad.optior,' of this ordinance for the benefit of the public
health safety, and welfare of the City of Batesville, Arkansas,
;herefore, it is declared that an emergency exists anu this ordi-
nance being necessary for the immediate preservation of the public
health, safety, and welfare shall be in force and take effect immed-
iately upon and after its passage,
