ORDINANCE NO. 22V
AN ORDINANCE VACATING A CERTAIN
PORTION OF PARK STREET IN THE EAST
END ADDITION TO THE CITY OF BATESIILLE.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the City Council of the
City of Batesville on the 'g�q day of May, 1964 requesting said Council
to abandon a certain portion of Park Street in the East End Addition to
said City as said portion was marked on the certified plat attached to
said petition.
WHEi��AS, after due notice as required by law, the council has,
at the time and place mentioned in the notice, heard all persons desiring
to be heard on the question and has ascertianed that the portion of Park
Street as described below has heretofore been dedicated bo the pulic use
as a street; has not been actually used as a street since its dedication;
and that all the owners of the property abutting upon said portion of Park
Street to be vacated have filed with the council their written cors ent to
such vacation; and that the public interest will not be adversely affected
by the vacation and abandonment of said portion of Park Street.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY (MUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS:
1. The city of -Batesville, Arkansas hereby releases, vacates, and
abandons all its rightsl1together with the righhs of the pulic generally,
in and to the following portion of Park Street:
"From tW point where the same intersects the east line
of 1___ --street to the point where the same intersects
the West line of Gwinn Street".
2. A copy of this Ordinance duly certidied by the city clerk
shall be filed in the office of the recorder of the county and recorded
in the deed recouds of the county.
3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in forde from and after
its passage.
