HomeMy WebLinkAbout2012-05-03 ORDINANCE NO.O(O �-oS'Q3 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE BATESVILLE ZONING DISTRICTS MAP; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the Batesville Planning Commission, after conducting a public hearing on April 2, 2012, has voted to recommend that certain property be rezoned from Single Family Residential [R-1] to Commercial Community [C-1]; and, WHEREAS, the Batesville Planning Commission has evaluated said proposed amendment to the zoning districts map and determined that it is in harmony with the Comprehensive Plan. NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BATESVILLE,ARKANSAS THAT THE BATESVILLE ZONING DISTRICTS MAP IS HEREBY AMENDED TO DESIGNATE THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED PROPERTY AS COMMERCIAL COMMUNITY [C-11: A tract of land being a part of the SW ''A,NE '/<of Section 13, T13N, R6W, in the City of Batesville, Independence County, Arkansas, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the southwest corner of said SW ''/a,NE '/a of said Section 13;thence N87°42'22"E a distance of 359.08' to a point,thence N88°54'00"E a distance of 257.23' to the point of beginning; thence S86°37'16"E along the north right-of-way of Arkansas Highway 69 a distance of 491.71' to a point; thence N01°27'59"E a distance of 690.61' to a point; thence N72°19'04"W along the south right-of-way line of the Missouri Pacific Railroad a distance of 758.21' to a point; thence S18°50'13"E a distance of 481.60' to a point; thence S10°01'55"E a distance of 209.77' to a point; thence S05026'1 1"E a distance of 230.37' to the point of beginning. `,.
