A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF BATESVILLE TO ENTER
INTO A CONTRACT WITH KM MASONRY, INC., OF BATESVILLE,
ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, the City of Batesville has received bids for the construction of a
handrail and steps to benefit the Library. All bids have been received; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the Mayor to sign a contract prior to execution of
the construction work;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED that the City Council of Batesville,
Arkansas, hereby declares that the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with KM
Masonry, Inc., of Batesville, Arkansas, for a total of Twenty-Seven Thousand Four
Hundred Ninety and No/100 Dollars ($27,490.00) for construction of the project. Said
cost not to be exceeded without properly executed change orders. The cost of the project
will be paid from funds from the Arkansas Economic Development Commission Rural
Services Division.
