AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE CITY OF BATESVILLE STREET MASTER PLAN
SPECIFICATIONS AND DETAILS FOR THE CITY OF BATESVILLE; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the City has experienced considerable growth in recent years; and
WHEREAS, that a street master plan is necessary to guide our City's growth in
an ordered, safe, and esthetic manner; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds and determines that the adoption of a master
plan is in the best interest of city of Batesville.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF
BATESVILLE; ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The City of Batesville Street Master Plan Specifications presented to
the city council is hereby adopted.
Section 2. That all ordinances and parts thereof in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.
EMERGENCY CLAUSE: That new construction is ongoing and the safety and
welfare of the residents of Batesville, Arkansas are immediately impacted when issues
of street construction, both current and future, are not properly addressed; therefore an
emergency is hereby declared to exist and this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this10 day of 2019.
