A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF BATESVILLE,ARKANSAS, TO
ENTER INTO A CONTRACT FOR CABINETS FOR BATESVILLE PRESCHOOL.
WHEREAS,the City of Batesville and Batesville Preschool have received quotes for
cabinets for two classrooms. The funding for the construction project is being provided by a
grant from the Arkansas Economic Development Commission. All quotes have been received;
and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the Mayor to sign the construction contract prior to
execution of the work;
NOW, THEREFORE,IT IS RESOLVED that the City Council of Batesville,
Arkansas, hereby declares that the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with Fulbright
Cabinet Shop of Mount Pleasant, Arkansas in an amount not to exceed Eleven Thousand Eight
Hundred Ten and No/100 Dollars ($11,810.00).
Said contract amount not to be changed without properly executed change orders.
Funding for the contract will come from the AEDC Grant.
