CITY OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS IIS

WHEREAS, the Batesville Planning Commission conducted a pr erly advertised public
hearing on February 4, 2013 to consider the desirability of amending the omprehensive Plan to
extend the historic residential classification to the property at 1211 E. swell, the same being
Lot 10 of Block 56 of the School Addition; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, determined that cnging the land use
classification of said property from commercial to historic residential as wholly appropriate,
insofar as the owners intend to re-occupy the structure for residential puToses and desire to have
said structure listed on the National Register of Historic Properties; and, I
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission voted to amend the omprehensive Plan to
further the objectives of the Plan; and, Ill
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has further recommende4 to the Batesville City
Council that it adopt said revision to the Plan; ill
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNtJL OF THE CITY OF
BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS III
THAT, the revision to the Batesville Comprehensive Plan as prepared Id recommended by the
Planning Commission be, and hereby are adopted.
