NEW BUSINESS A) White River Wonderland update B) Consider a resolution setting fees for permanent maintenance fund, lot sales and deed changes for Oaklawn Cemetery, Gray's Addition and the Mausoleum located at Oaklawn Cemetery. C) Consider a resolution designating and authorizing the Mayor, City Clerk and City Engineer to execute certain documents in connection with funding administered by Arkansas Natural Resources Commission D) Executive Session 9. ADJOURNMENT "City of Hospitality" RESOLUTION NUMBER A RESOLUTION SETTING FEES FOR PERMANENT MAINTENANCE FUND, LOT SALES, AND DEED CHANGES FOR OAKLAWN CEMETERY, GRAY'S ADDITION TO OAKLAWN CEMETERY AND THE MAUSOLEUM LOCATED AT OAKLAWN CEMETERY, BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES WHEREAS, The City of Batesville owns, operates and maintains said Oaklawn Cemetery and Gray's Addition to Oaklawn Cemetery and operates and maintains the Mausoleum located at Oaklawn Cemetery; and WHEREAS, The City of Batesville provides for lot sales, deed changes, and a permanent maintenance fund. WHEREAS, City codes provide that the City may establish fees for such said lot sales, deed changes, and permanent maintenance fund; and WHEREAS, the City desires to adopt a fee schedule for lot sales, deed changes, and permanent maintenance fund. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City adopts the fees for lot sales, deed changes, and permanent maintenance fund attached hereto as Exhibit A, for Oaklawn Cemetery, Gray's Addition to Oaklawn Cemetery, and the Mausoleum located at Oaklawn Cemetery. RESOLUTION NUMBER A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR, CITY CLERK AND CITY ENGINEER TO EXECUTE CERTAIN DOCUMENTS IN CONNECTION WITH FUNDING ADMINISTERED BY THE ARKANSAS NATURAL RESOURCES COMMISSION WHEREAS, the City of Batesville, Arkansas owns and operates a Water System (the "System") in order to provide water services to meet the needs of the City and its inhabitants; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is in the best interest of the City and its inhabitants to apply for loan assistance from the Arkansas Natural Resources Commission (the "ANRC"), in order to make certain improvements to the System; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Batesville, Arkansas: Section 1. That the Mayor of the City, as the Signatory Agent or the successor of said Agent, is hereby authorized and directed to make application for assistance administered by the ANRC and to execute, when approved by the City Council, a bond purchase agreement and instruments issued or made pursuant thereto on behalf of the City from time to time. Section 2. That the City Clerk, as a Signatory Agent or the successor of said Agent, is hereby authorized to execute, for and on behalf of the City, all other documents and certificates required. Section 3. That the City Engineer, as a Signatory Agent or the successor of said Agent, is hereby authorized to execute, for and on behalf of the City, all other documents and certificates required.
