fir►' Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Batesville, State of Arkansas a resolution
entitled:
AUTHORIZING RESOLUTION
A Resolution authorizing the Mayor of the City of Batesville to apply for a grant from the
Federal Aviation Administration(FAA) on behalf of the Batesville Airport Commission.
Whereas, the City Council of the City of Batesville recognizes the need for the project,
concurs its importance, and supports the Batesville Airport Commission in its efforts to
proceed with the same; and
Therefore,be it resolved that the Mayor of the City of Batesville is authorized to sign the
application for FAA funding; and
Be it further resolved, that the Mayor of the City of Batesville is hereby authorized to sign the
Grant Agreement with the Federal Aviation Administration for purposes of securing grant
funds in the amount of$450,000.00 or less to aid and assist the Batesville Airport
Commission to construct 2 taxiway extensions to promote hangar development, and that the
Mayor and the Commission Chairman is further authorized to administer the grant funds for
the same project.
