AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 2005-1-4
WHEREAS, the City desires to amend Ordinance #2005-1-4 to correct the Ward
assignment of newly annexed land;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS,
SECTION 1: That ordinance #2005-1-4 is hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 1. That the City of Batesville, Arkansas, acting by and through
this City Council and Mayor does hereby approve the annexation of, and does
hereby accept and make a part of the incorporated area of the City of Batesville,
Arkansas, the following described lands, and that said lands be and are hereby
assigned and attached to the 3rd Ward of the City.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 28th day of August, 2007.
