RESOLUTION NO. 2025-04-01-R <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF BATESVILLE TO SUBMIT AN <br /> APPLICATION TO THE ARKANSAS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION <br /> FOR AN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PROJECT <br /> WHEREAS,Batesville is applying to the State of Arkansas for an Arkansas Community <br /> and Economic Development grant for an economic development project to benefit LaCroix <br /> Precision Optics, and <br /> WHEREAS, it is necessary that certain conditions be met as part of the application <br /> requirements; and <br /> WHEREAS, Batesville has conducted the required public hearing as part of the <br /> application process to receive and consider comments on community development and housing <br /> needs, and proposed activities; and <br /> WHEREAS, as a result of the first public hearing, Batesville has identified and <br /> prioritized the community development and housing needs; <br /> THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Mayor is authorized to submit an application to <br /> the State of Arkansas on behalf of LaCroix Precision Optics to expend funds for the economic <br /> development project, if the grant is awarded. <br /> ENTERED this 8TH day of April, 2025. <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Jty Clerk <br />
