A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION
DOCUMENT AS PREPARED BY ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTING
OPERATIONS, INC., AND FURTHER ADOPTING THE FACILITY PLAN
PREPARED BY MCGOODWIN, WILLIAMS AND YATES, BOTH OF WHICH
WERE APPROVED BY THE ARKANSAS NATURAL RESOURCES COMMISSION
IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE CLEAN WATER STATE REVOLVING LOAN
FUND PROGRAM.
WHEREAS,the City of Batesville,Arkansas is in need of certain improvements to
its wastewater system; and
WHEREAS, the City of Batesville, Arkansas possesses the necessary legal,
AL financial, institutional and managerial resources to construct, operate and maintain the
facilities; and
WHEREAS, the Environmental Information Document, which was prepared in
accordance with the State Revolving Fund Regulations and 40 CFR Part 35, recommends
certain improvements to the City's wastewater system.
WHEREAS, the Facility Plan, which was prepared in accordance with the State
Revolving Fund Regulations and 40 CFR Part 35,recommends certain improvements to the
City's wastewater system;

NOW, THEREFORE., BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Batesville, Arkansas:
Section 11 That the City of Batesville, Arkansas, hereby concurs with the
recommended facilities proposed in the Environmental Information Document and in the
Facility Plan; and
Section 2. That the proposed recommended facilities are to be funded with the
Clean Water State Revolving Fund, administered by the Arkansas Natural Resources
Commission on behalf of the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency; and
Section 3. That, with the approval of the Arkansas Natural Resources
Commission, the City of Batesville, Arkansas intends to construct operate and maintain
such facilities in accordance with State and Federal requirements.
