A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE CERTAIN DOCUMENTS IN CONNECTION WITH THE CLEAN
WATER REVOLVING LOAN PROGRAM ADMINISTERED BY THE ARKANSAS
NATURAL RESOURCES COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the City of Batesville, Arkansas owns and operates a Wastewater Collection and
Treatment System (the "System") in order to provide sanitary sewer services to meet the
needs of the City and its inhabitants; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is in the best interest of the City and its
inhabitants to apply for loan assistance from the Arkansas Natural Resources
Commission (the "ANRC") under the Clean Water Revolving Loan Program (the
"Program"), in order to make certain improvements to the System;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Batesville, Arkansas:
Section 1. That the City Engineer and City Clerk, as the Signatory Agent or the successor of
said Agent, is hereby authorized and directed to make application for assistance under the
( Program administered by the ANRC, execute a bond purchase agreement when approved
firâ–º by the City Council and instruments issued or made pursuant thereto on behalf of the City
from time to time and execute all other documents and certificates required by the
department for participation in the Program.
