ARKANSAS STATE FIRE CODE VOLUME 1,2007 ARKANSAS STATE FIRE CODE
VOLUME 2,2007 ARKANSAS STATE FIRE CODE VOLUME 3,2006 INTERNATIONAL
BUILDING CODE, 2006 INTERNATIONAL BUILDING CODE 1 AND 2 FAMILY,2006
ARKANSAS PLUMBING CODE, 2006 ARKANSAS FUEL GAS CODE, 2008 NATIONAL
ELECTRICAL CODE, AND THE 2003 ARKANSAS MECHANICHAL CODE WITHIN THE
CITY OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS, DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BATESVILLE,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The various codes relating to inspection activities within the City of Batesville is
her6by adopted by reference as though it was copied herein fully:
2007 Arkansas State Fire Prevention Code,Volume 1
2007 Arkansas State Fire Prevention Code,Volume 2
2007 Arkansas State Fire Prevention Code,Volume 3
2006 International Building Code
2006 International Building Code 1 and 2 Family
2006 Arkansas Plumbing Code
2006 Arkansas Fuel Gas Code
2003 Arkansas Mechanical Code
SECTION 2: SEVERABILITY: If any part of this ordinance shall be held void, such part shall
be deemed severable,and the invalidity thereof shall not affect the remaining parts of this
ordinance.
SECTION 3: EMERGENCY CLAUSE: For the purpose of bringing the appropriate building
codes up-to-date in a timely manner,an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance
being necessary for the public peace, health and safety shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage.
