HomeMy WebLinkAbout2010-08-02-R RESOLUTION NO. 2010- (k A RESOLUTION BY THE CITY OF BATESVILLE TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE QUITCLAIM DEED TO REAL PROPERTY BELONGING TO THE CITY OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS, TO VITAL LINK, INC. WHEREAS,the City of Batesville has decided to abandon a piece of property owned by the City that was previously unused and undedicated, by the City; and WHEREAS, Vital Link, Inc. is currently using the above mentioned property and intends to continue to use said property in it's operation located at 1033 EMS Drive, Batesville, AR 72501; and WHEREAS, the City of Batesville wishes to Deed it's interest in this property to Vital Link, Inc. for it's operations located immediately adjacent to the subject property in the best interest of the health and well being of the citizens of Batesville and all of Independence County and surrounding areas that are so well served by Vital Link, Inc.; and WHEREAS, a copy of said Deed is attached hereto and incorporated herein. NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS: That the City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to sign any and all necessary documents to affect the transfer of the above mentioned property to Vital Link, Inc,. Main Street, Batesville,AR 72501 (hereinafter referred to as "Grantor") in favor of Vital Link, Inc., 1033 EMS Drive, Batesville,AR 72501 (hereinafter referred to as "Grantee").
