A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BATESVILLE,ARKANSAS,
INCREASING CEMETERY ANNUAL DUES PER SPACE
WHEREAS, the Batesville City Council wishes to increase the funding of the Cemetery
Permanent Maintenance Fund: and
WHEREAS, the Batesville City Council wishes to increase the Annual Dues per burial space
each year until the amount of the permanent maintenance fee has been met for that space; and
WHEREAS,the Batesville City Council wishes to abolish the annual per burial space dues once
the Permanent Maintenance Fund Amount has been met by the burial space owner.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BATESVILLE,ARKANSAS, THAT:
I. That the Annual Dues per burial space fee shall increase from Eight Dollars ($8.00)to
Fifteen Dollars ($15.00) for the year 2011.
2. That the Annual Dues per burial space fee shall increase by Five Dollars ($5.00) per year
per burial space beginning in the year 2012 until said space has accumulated the amount
of the Permanent Maintenance Fund Requirement.
3. That upon reaching the Permanent Maintenance Fund Requirement, the Annual Dues per
space shall terminate.
4. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
