HomeMy WebLinkAbout2002-10-03 • ORDINANCE NO. AOQU —JQ-3 AN ORDINANCE REZONING ANNEXED PROPERTY OWNED BY CLIFF REYNOLDS FROM R-i TO R-2 RESIDENTIAL;DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND OTHER PURPOSES. BE IT ORDAINED BY TIM CITY OF 13ATESVILLE AS FOLLOWS: (1) The following property be and the same is hereby rezoned from R-1 Residential to R- 2 Residential. In accordance-with municipal ordinance#999, section IV, subsection 4, all annexed property within the corporate limits of the City of Batesville is required a public hearing conducted before the city planning commission for the determination of the most appropriate zoning district for the subject property. The Batesville Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on October 7, 2002 and has recommended that the zoning district be designated as R-2 Residential. • (2) The property is described n thus: A tract of land being part of the NE tf<of the SE W of Seetion 7, Township 13 North, Range.€ West of the_5s'Principal.Meridian in.Independence County,Arkansas,more particularly described as fb)lows: Commencing at the NE corner of said NE Yt SE W,thence run South, a distance 627.15 feet; to the Point of Beginning; thence run South, a distance of 95.84 feet; thence run West, a distance of 127.58 feet; thence run North 02 degrees _ mutes 17 seconds East, a distance of 94.66 feet; thence run North 89 degrees 23 minutes 34 seconds East, a distance 122.74 feet to the-Point of Beginning. Containing 0.27 acre, more or less.
