A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH
RLH CONSTRUCTION OF SALEM, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, Batesville, Arkansas has received funding through the Arkansas
Economic Development Commission for drainage and sidewalk improvements; and
WHEREAS, bids have been received for the construction work. All bids have
been reviewed and a recommendation for award has been made; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the Mayor and City Clerk to sign a construction
contract prior to start of the construction work;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED that the Batesville City Council
hereby declares that the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to execute a contract with
RLH Construction of Salem, Arkansas for a total of Ninety-Five Thousand Three
Hundred Ninety-Eight and 98/100 for drainage and sidewalk improvements on Pine
Street in West Batesville. Said cost not to be exceeded without properly executed change
orders. The cost of the contract will be paid with grant funds from the Arkansas
Economic Development Commission.
