ORDINANCE NO. 2005-1-1
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 2004-9-2 CONCERNING
THE CHILDREN'S PARK WITHIN RIVERSIDE PARK, DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY,AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
SECTION 1. Section 1 of Ordinance 2004-9-2 is hereby amended to read: Hours
of availability shall be from 8:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. during daylight savings time.
Section 2 of Ordinance 2004-9-2 is hereby amended to read: Hours of availability during
other times shall be 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.
SECTION 2. Section 5 of Ordinance 2004-9-2 is hereby amended to read:
Appropriate signage shall be placed on site to advise as to the time when the Children's
Park is open and closed. Unattended vehicles shall be subject to towing at the owners
expense.
SECTION 3. EMERGENCY CLAUSE. Due to the fact that vandalism, litter
and other malicious acts are already present, an emergency is hereby declared to exit and
this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage for the public
peace, health and safety.
