A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE CITY OF BATESVILLE EMPLOYEE
HANDBOOK FOR THE CITY OF BATESVILLE; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the City of Batesville had findings in its 1999 annual audit
regarding inadequate policies and procedures in several areas in the City's
Personnel Policy; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to comply with recommendations made by
the City's auditors; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds and determines that the adoption of the
said policy is in the best interest of the employees of the City of Batesville and its
citizens.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR
THE CITY OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The City of Batesville Employee Handbook which is before the
meeting be and is hereby adopted and shall be effective from and after the
passage of this Resolution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of April, 2001.
