• AN ORDINANCE REZONING 10 ACRES OF PROPERTY OWNED BY BILL AND
GAIL DAVIS FROM R-1 TO C-1.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL AS FOLLOWS:
(1) In accordance with the recommendation from the Batesville Planning
Commission the property described herein below be and the same is hereby
rezoned from R-1 to C-1. The public hearing regarding this rezoning matter was
conducted before the Batesville Planning Commission on Monday, May 2, 2005.
(2) The property is described thus:
Legal Description of Property:
A part of the Northeast Quarter of Section 14, Township.13 North,
Range 6 West of the 5"' Principal Meridian of Independence County,
Arkansas, described as follows; Commencing at the Northwest corner
of the SE '/4 of NE '/4 of said Section 14; thence North 0 degrees
15 minutes 18 seconds East along the North line of Big Pine Addition
a distance of 54.02 feet, thence North 69 degrees 52 minutes 27
seconds West along said Big Pine Addition North line a distance of
505.29 feet to the Northwest corner of Lot 28 of said Big Pine
Addition; thence South 20 degrees 07 minutes 33 seconds West
along said Big Pine Addition West line a distance of 470.00 feet to
the Southwest comer of Lot 29 of said Big Pine Addition;
thence South 89 degrees 52 minutes 27 seconds
East along said Lot 29 South line a distance of 78.36 feet; thence
South 1 degree 41 minutes 08 seconds West a distance of
151.90 feet to the point of beginning;
thence South 1 degree 41 minutes 08 seconds West a
distance of 660 feet, more or less to the North R/W line
of State Highway 69 (Harrison Street); thence North
71 degrees 37 minutes 40 seconds West along
said North RNV line a distance of 315.34 feet; thence
on a curve to the left having a radius of 3099.75 feet along
said North RNV line a curve distance of 368.07 feet; thence North
1 degree 41 minutes 08 seconds East a distance of 660 feet,
more or less to a point; thence Southeasterly to the point
of beginning and containing 10 acres more or less in
Batesville, Independence County, Arkansas.
