BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS ORDINANCE N4 2006- q—/ AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE DEDICATION OF A CITY STREET KNOWN AS DRY KILN ROAD TO THE CITY OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS WHEREAS, Mobley Lumber Company, L.L.C., has executed and delivered to the City of Batesville, Arkansas, its Deed of Dedication for the purpose of a city street, known as Dry Kiln Road, an easement across the following described property: A tract of land being a part of the South Half of the Northwest Quarter of Section 14, Township 13 North, Range 6 West in the city of Batesville, Independence County, Arkansas, more particularly described as follows: • Commencing at the Northwest corner of said Section 14; thence East, 1568.68 feet; thence South 1620.52 feet to the Point of Beginning; thence South 19'01'17" West, 617.33 feet; thence South 9°55'39" West, 14.17 feet to the nominal North right of way of Harrison Street; thence along said nominal North right of way line along a curve to the left, said curve having a long chord bearing of South 59°35'43" West, a long chord distance of 62.78 feet; thence North 9°55'39" East, 53.04 feet; thence North 18°03'20" East, 602.92 feet; thence South 85°00'49" East, 67.18 feet to the Point of Beginning. This tract contains 1.77 acres, more or less. and, WHEREAS, the said Dry Kiln Road has been constructed in accordance with the requirements of the City of Batesville, Arkansas, and the public benefit will be served by the acceptance of Dry Kiln Road for maintenance purposes. • BE IT THEREFORE ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS: That the City of Batesville does hereby accept for purposes of maintenance, the public street known as Dry Kiln Road, described hereinabove.
