Resolution for Independence Progress
Whereas, Citizens for Progress have as their mission to unify,
communicate, and thus enhance investment in our future;
Whereas, the community has capital investment and infrastructure
needs;
Whereas, effective capital investments are essential to foster a good
quality of life and job opportunities for our community's citizens;
Whereas, an election is an opportunity to provide more local funding
for the needed improvements;
Now, therefore, be it resolved that the Batesville City Council does
hereby support a public vote for increased local funding for our
community.
