WHEREAS,it is not required that the Batesville City Council has to pass a document for
the investing of funds concerning Oaklawn Cemetery but some investment firms require
this: and
WHEREAS,it is proper that the investing of said funds be reviewed periodically.
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Batesville,
Arkansas, that the Mayor of The City of Batesville and the City Clerk be empowered to
choose an investment representive involving Oaklawn Cemetery funds and stocks with
appropriate documents on file with the city clerk.
