HomeMy WebLinkAbout2006-01-01-R BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL CITY OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS RESOLUTION NO. /- /-/,� A RESOLUTION SETTING INSPECTION FEES FOR PLUMBING, ELECTRICAL, HEATING, VENTING AIR-CONDITIONING, AND REFRIGERATION INSPECTIONS AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES WHEREAS, The City of Batesville has adopted uniform codes regulating the inspection of plumbing, electrical, heating, venting, air-conditioning, and refrigeration; and WHEREAS, said codes provide that the City may establish fees for the inspection of work performed to determine compliance with said codes; and WHEREAS, the City desires to adopt a fee schedule for inspections of plumbing, electrical, heating, venting, air-conditioning, and refrigeration. NOW, BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED, that the City adopts the permit and inspection rate schedule for new residential construction for building, heating, venting, air-conditioning and refrigeration attached hereto as Exhibit "A", the building and inspection rate schedule for commercial, institutional, and other than residential new construction for building, electrical, plumbing, heating, venting, air-conditioning and refrigeration attached hereto as Exhibit "B"; and miscellaneous permit and inspection fees attached hereto as Exhibit "C". JOHNSTON, CITY CLERK BUILDING AND INSPECTION FEES FOR NEW RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION Building Permits-----$15.00 permit fee plus $0.15 per square foot under roof (all) Electrical-----$15.00 for permit plus $35.00 inspection fee Plumbing-----$15.00 for permit plus $35.00 inspection fee Heating and Air Conditioning-----$15.00 each unit plus $35.00 inspection fee Minimum total permit fee will be $50.00 for any trade Any additional inspections necessary shall be billed at $35.00 per trip Certificate of Completion (Occupancy) shall be an additional $25.00 ADD-ON AND REMODEL — RESIDENTIAL Building permits-----$15.00 permit fee plus $2.00 per thousand dollars construction cost (minimum of $50.00 fee) Electrical-------$15.00 for permit plus $35.00 inspection fee Plumbing------$15.00 for permit plus $35.00 inspection fee Heating and Air Conditioning-----$15.00 each unit plus $35.00 inspection fee Minimum total permit fee will be $50.00 for any trade All permits must be obtained before work begins or total fees will double if job has begun without permit EXHIBIT «A„ COMMERCIAL, INSTITUTIONAL, AN OTHER THAN RESIDENTIAL NEW CONSTRUCTION Building Permits-----$15.00 permit fee plus $2.50 per $1,000.00 of job cost (includes $0.50 for State of Arkansas) Electrical Permits------$15.00 permit plus $1 .00 per $1,000.00 of job cost plus $35.00 inspection fee (To be a part of a larger permitted job) Plumbing Permits------$15.00 permit plus $1 .00 per $1,000.00 of job cost plus $35.00 inspection fee (To be a part of a larger permitted job) Heating and Air Conditioning Permits----$15.00 permit plus $1.00 per $1,000.00 of job plus $35.00 for inspection fee (To be a part of a larger permitted job) Commercial Kitchen Vent Hood Permits-----$15.00 permit plus $1 .00 per $1,000.00 of job plus $35.00 inspection fee (To be a part of a larger permitted job) Plan review fee for all jobs (non-residential) costing over $100,000.00 to $499,999.99---------------$50.00 $500,000.00 to $999,999.99------------- $100.00 $1,000,000.00 plus------------------------- $150.00 Certificate of Occupancy (Completion) on other than residential shall be an additional $50.00 Excessive trips by any inspector will be billed to the appropriate Contractor at $35.00 per trip All permits must be obtained before work begins or total fees will double if work has begun without permit EXHIBIT «B„ MISCELLANEOUS PERMIT AND INSPECTION FEES Demolition Residential-----$35.00 Non-Residential----$50.00 Swimming Pool Permit Residential-----$35.00 permit fee plus $2.50 per thousand dollars job cost (Minimum fee of $40.00) Non-Residential-----$50.00 permit fee plus $2.50 per thousand dollars job cost (minimum fee of$100.00 plus fees for any electrical work) Sign Permits-----$15.00 plus $2.50 per thousand dollars job cost plus any electrical permits Heating and/or Air Conditioning replacements-----$15.00 permit plus $35.00 inspection fee Excessive trips by any inspector will be billed to the appropriate contractor at $35.00 per trip All permits must be obtained before work begins or total fees will be doubled if job has begun without permit EXHIBIT «CYY BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL CITY OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS RESOLUTION NO. 2006-1-2-R A RESOLUTION SETTING FEES FOR INTERNMENTS AND DIS-INTERNMENTS FOR OAKLAWN CEMETERY, GRAY'S ADDITION TO OAKLAWN CEMETERY AND THE MAUSOLEUM LOCATED AT OAKLAWN CEMETERY AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES WHEREAS, The City of Batesville owns, operates and maintains said Oaklawn Cemetery and Gray's Addition to Oaklawn Cemetery and operates and maintains the Mausoleum located at Oaklawn Cemetery; and WHEREAS, The City of Batesville provides all internments and dis- internments for said cemetery; and WHEREAS, City codes provide that the City may establish fees for such internments and dis-internments; and WHEREAS, the City desires to adopt a fee schedule for internments and dis- internments. NOW, BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED, that the City adopts the fees for internments and dis-internments attached hereto as Exhibit A, for Oaklawn Cemetery, Gray's Addition to Oaklawn Cemetery and the Mausoleum located at Oaklawn Cemetery.
