RESOLUTION NO. A9To--3-
A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT AND
REAPPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS TO THE CITY OF BATESVILLE,
ARKANSAS PUBLIC FACILITIES BOARD.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Constitution and laws of the State of Arkansas, particularly the
Public Facilities Boards Act, Arkansas Code Annotated §§ 14-137-101 to -123 (the"Act"), the City
of Batesville, Arkansas Public Facilities Board (the "Board") has been created by Ordinance
No. 2003-10-1 of the City Council of the City of Batesville, Arkansas for various public purposes,
including the purpose of assisting in the financing and refinancing of health care facilities; and
WHEREAS, the Act authorizes the Mayor to appoint successor members of the Board
subject to the confirmation of the governing body of the municipality and the Mayor has
appointed and reappointed the persons named below for the terms stated;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Batesville,
Arkansas, that:
Section 1. The City Council hereby confirms the following successor members of the Board
duly appointed and reappointed as follows:
Name Term Expires
Nancy Thomas November 10, 2006
Robert R. Parman November 10,2009
Herman Lee November 10, 2010
Section 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
