A RESOLUTION INCREASING THE COST OF CEMETERY SPACES,
PERMANENT CARE FEES AND ANNUAL MAINTENANCE DUES AT
OAKLAWN CEMETERY IN BATESVILLE INCLUDING THE GRAY'S
ADDITION TO SAID CEMETERY AND AMENDING RESOLUTION NUMBER
2003-12-3-R.
WHEREAS, there is a need to increase the fees for cemetery spaces, permanent
care fees and annual maintenance dues at Oaklawn Cemetery, which includes
the Gray's Addition to insure the financial integrity of the cemetery.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Batesville,
Arkansas:
Section 1. Commencing on February 1 , 2007, the cost for a cemetery space at
said cemetery will be $300.00 for each grave space plus $200.00 for permanent
care fees for a total of $500.00 for grave spaces with flat markers and $350.00
for each grave space plus $200.00 for permanent care fees for a total of $550.00
for grave spaces with upright markers.
Section 2. Commencing on February 1, 2007, the cost for annual maintenance
dues will be $8.00 per grave space.
ADOPTED this 30th day of January, 2007.
