Be it resolved by the City Council of Batesville, State of Arkansas a resolution entitled:
Application for purchase of equipment for White River Health Systems
A Resolution authorizing the Mayor of Batesville to apply for a grant on behalf of White
River Health Systems, Inc..
Whereas, the Batesville City Council has determined that White River Health Systems
meets eligibility requirements necessary to apply for a grant under the 2007 General
Improvement Fund Grant Program; and
Whereas, the Health System has presented plans for the equipment to be purchased; and
Whereas, the City Council of Batesville recognizes the need for the project, concurs in its
importance, and supports the City in its efforts to proceed with the same; and
Therefore, be it resolved that the City Council of Batesville hereby appropriates the sum
of$-0-to complete the local match money requirement for the project described herein;
Be it further resolved, that the Mayor of Batesville is hereby authorized to submit an
application of formal request to the Arkansas Economic Developmer Commission for
purposes of securing state grant funds in the amount of Cto aid and assist
the City in executing the proposed project described herein and that the Mayor is further
authorized to administer the grant funds for the same project. l
