A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
AND THE CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO AN
ARCHITECTURAL AGREEMENT WITH
Z. F. MOBLEY OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, Batesville, Arkansas, has received notification of pending funding from the
Arkansas Economic Development Commission(AEDC) for renovations of the former GDX
building and other improvements to benefit Bad Boy Mowers; and
WHEREAS, Batesville has followed the AEDC procurement procedure for selection of an
architect to provide plans and specifications, and to provide construction inspection of the
proposed project; and
WHEREAS, it will be necessary for the Mayor and City Clerk to act in connection with
the Architectural Agreement;
THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City Council of Batesville, Arkansas, hereby
declares that the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to execute an agreement with Z. F. Mobley
of Batesville, Arkansas, to provide architectural services to the City for the proposed project.
Such costs and contract format to be approved by the funding agency and all such costs to be
paid from the grant funds.
