A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK OF BATESVILLE,
ARKANSAS, TO ENTER INTO VARIOUS
CONTRACTS FOR THE ARKANSAS ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION PROJECT TO
BENEFIT BAD BOY MOWERS.
WHEREAS, Batesville, Arkansas, has received bids for the construction improvements
related to the Economic Development Project for Bad Boy Mowers. All bids have been
reviewed and a recommendation for award has been made by the City's engineer; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the Mayor and City Clerk to sign construction contracts
prior to execution of the construction work;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED that the City Council of Batesville, Arkansas,
hereby declares that the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to execute construction contracts
with the following:
Contract I KEG Construction, Inc., of Paragould $137,940.00
Contract II Hatfield Ready Mix of Cave City $432,091.00
Contract III Atlas Asphalt, Inc. of Batesville $ 58,632.00
Said cost of each contract not to be changed without properly executed change orders.
