A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR TO APPLY TO
THE DELTA REGIONAL AUTHORITY
FOR 2009 FUNDING.
WHEREAS, Batesville is applying to the Delta Regional Authority (DRA) for
a Delta Regional Authority 2009 Federal Grant; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that certain conditions be met as part of the
application requirements;
THEREFORE, be it resolved that Rick Elumbaugh, Mayor, is authorized to
submit a grant application to the Delta Regional Authority, on behalf of the city.
Mayor Elumbaugh is also authorized to sign any DRA grant documents necessary
to bind the city and to expend such grant funds to benefit the citizens of Batesville.
