WHEREAS, the City of Batesville is applying to the State of
Arkansas for a Drug Law Enforcement Program grant; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that certain conditions be met as
part of the application requirements; and
WHEREAS, the City of Batesville has developed a program
which addresses the objectives of the Drug Law Enforcement
Program and the State Strategy; and
WHEREAS, the necessary funds must be made available as
matching funds to the program.
THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Mayor of the City of
Batesville is authorized to submit an application to the State
of Arkansas on behalf of the City of Batesville, to expend funds
for the Drug Law Enforcement Program, if the grant is awarded.
