RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING LOCAL FUNDS TO BE COMMITTED AS THE LOCAL
MATCH FOR FUNDING ASSISTANCE FROM THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
AU4INISTRATION, U.S. DEPARIM Wr OF M4ERCE.
WHEREAS, the City of Batesville, Arkansas, needs to expand the
water treatment facility; and
WHEREAS, the City of Batesville, Arkansas, has authorized the
Mayor to apply to the Economic Development Administration, U.S.
Department of Commerce, for funding assistance; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that certain conditions be met as part
of the application requirements.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Batesville,
Arkansas, that the City of Batesville will commit up to one
million dollars ($1,000,000) as matching money, and that the
local matching money is readily available from the City of
Batesville, if the grant is awarded.
