RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF BATESVILLE. ARKANSAS CERTIFYING
LOCAL GOVERNMENT ENDORSEMENT OF CONCORD SPECIALTY CORPORATION
TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ARKANSAS ENTERPRIZE ZONE PROGRAM
WHEREAS, THE City of Batesville has an approved Enterprise Zone designation
for Enumeration District 1149A within the corporate limits of the City of Batesville:
and
WHEREAS: the local government must endorse a business or enterprise to participate
in the Arkansas Enterprise Zone Program and benefit from the refunds/exemptions
as provided in the Arkansas Enterprise Zone Program Regulations of 1989: and
WHEREAS: said endorsement must be made on specific forms available from AIDC:
and
WHEREAS. Concord Specialty Corporation located on Industrial Drive has sought
to participate in the program and has been determined by the management of the
enterprise zone program to be eligible for the benefits thereof, and more specifically
has requested benefits accruing from their expansion of the specific facility: and
WHEREAS. Concord Specialty Corporation has agreed to furnish the management
of the enterprise zone all necessary information for compliance.
NOW. THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT:
1. Concord Specialty Corporation be endorsed by the City of Batesville for
benefits from the refunds/exemptions as provided in the Arkansas Enterprise
Zone Program Regulations of 1969, by Act 462 of 1989, through June 30, 1995.
2. This resolution shall take effect immedi tley.
