RESOLUTION NO. 03
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK OF BATESVILLE,
ARKANSAS, TO ENTER INTO A
CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT WITH
WHITE RIVER BITUMINOUS, INC.
OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, Batesville, Arkansas, has received bids for the paving of
the parking lot and access areas at the North Recreation Complex. All bids
have been reviewed and a recommendation for award has been made; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the Mayor and City Clerk to sign a
construction contract prior to execution of the construction work;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED that the City Council of
Batesville, Arkansas hereby declares that the Mayor and City Clerk be
authorized to execute a contract with White River Bituminous, Inc., of
Batesville, Arkansas, for a total of Forty-one Thousand, Seven Hundred
,,. Seventy and No/100 Dollars ($41,770). Said cost of the contract not to be
exceeded without properly executed change orders.
