CITY OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS
RESOLUTION NO. �
A RESOLUTION SETTING INSPECTION FEES FOR
PLUMBING, ELECTRICAL, HEATING, VENTING AIR-CONDITIONING,
AND REFRIGERATION INSPECTIONS
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the City of Batesville has adopted uniform codes regulating the
inspection of plumbing; electrical; heating, venting, air-conditioning, and
refrigeration; and
WHEREAS, said codes provide that the City may establish fees for the
inspection of work performed to determine compliance with said codes; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to adopt a fee schedule for inspections of
plumbing, electrical, heating, venting, air-conditioning, and refrigeration.
NOW, BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED, that the City adopts the
inspection rate schedule for heating, venting, air-conditioning and refrigeration
attached hereto as Exhibit "A"; the inspection rate schedule for electrical attached
hereto as Exhibit "B"; and the inspection rate schedule for plumbing attached
hereto as Exhibit "C".
Said fee schedules will be followed by the Code Enforcement Officer or his
designee and assessed as appropriate.

INSPECTIONS RATES
HEATING, VENTING,AIR-CONDITIONING and REFRIGERATION
Permits:
A permit is required for:
1. New construction
2. Remodeling
3. Demolition
The permit fee is $ 10.00 up to $ 10,000.00. Then $ 1.00 per $ 1,000.00 over$ 10,000.00
will be added to the initial $ 10.00 fee. Permits may be applied for at the Municipal
Building at 500 East Main Street, 870-698-2400.
INSPECTIONS
An inspection is required for :
A. Ductwork below grade and under concrete slabs, before ductwork is covered. $ 25.00
B. Ductwork and equipment after it is installed (roughed in). $ 25.00
C. Complete inspection after all portions of the system are installed and before the system
is in operation. $ 25.00

Notice:
A Surety Bond in the amount of$ 1,000.00 made to the City of Batesville will be on file
with the Code Enforcement Department before any hvacr technician performs
construction installation, change out of units, or service work in the City of Batesville.
INSPECTION RATES
FLFCTEICAL
Permits :
A permit is required for:
1. New construction
2. Remodeling
3. Demolition
The permit fee is $ 10.00 up to $ 10,000.00. Then $ 1.00 per$ 1,000.00 will be
added to the initial $ 10.00 fee.
Permits may be applied for at the Municipal Building at 500 East Main Street, 870-698-
2400.
INSPECTIONS:
An inspection is required for:
A. Temporary service pole: $ 25.00
B. Underground wiring and conduit, before it is covered : $ 25.00
C. Structures, swimming pool, fountains, etc. after the wiring is roughed in, before the
wiring is covered up : $ 25.00
D. Final, after all electrical is completed and ready to connect to permanent power:
$ 25.00
E. Electrical service change outs: $ 25.00
F. Demolition: $ 25.00
Notice :
A Surety Bond in the amouny of$ 1,000.00 made to the City of Batesville will be on file
with the Code Enforcement Department before any company or electrician performs
electrical construction or service work in the City of Batesville.
INSPECTION RATES
PLUMBING
Buildings on concrete slab
Rough In before slab is poured : $ 25.00
Top Out before being covered up : $ 25.00
Final $ 25.00
Buildings on wood floor
Rough In and Top Out $ 50.00
Final : $ 25.00
Natural Gas :
Pressure Tests : $ 25.00
A plumbing permit will be required for
1. New construction.
2. Remodeling.

10,000.00 will be added to the initial $ 10.00 permit fee.Permits may be applied for at the
