• RESOLUTION NUMBER
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF BATESVILLE TO SUBMIT AN
APPLICATION TO THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF ARKANSAS FUND
COMMISSION FOR AN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PROJECT.
WHEREAS,the City of Batesville is applying to the Economic Development of Arkansas Fund
Commission for a grant for the design deficiency correction for erosion at the bank of the White
River and at two culverts for the Batesville Levee/Floodwall project ; and
WHEREAS,the plans for the proposed project have been outlined and a cost estimate prepared;
and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that certain conditions be met as part of the application
requirements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,that the City Council of the City of Batesville
hereby authorizes the Mayor to submit an application to the Economic Development of Arkansas
Fund Commission for the project.
