MINUTES OF COUNCIL <br /> MAY 25 2010 <br /> The Batesville City Council met in regular session on May 25, at 5:30 PM at the <br /> Municipal Building. Mayor Elumbaugh called the meeting to order. Councilmember Matthews <br /> gave the invocation. Upon roll call, the following council answered present; Tommy Bryant, <br /> Margarett Henley, Davy Insell, Fred Krug, Douglas Matthews, Matt McDonald, Richard O'Neal <br /> and David Shetron. Also present were the City Clerk and the City Attorney. <br /> Councilmember Shetron moved to approve the minutes from the previous meeting. <br /> Councilmember Henley seconded and all voted for. <br /> Councilmember Bryant moved to approve the prepared agenda. Councilmember <br /> Shetron seconded and all voted for. <br /> CITIZENS COMMENTS <br /> None <br /> UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> None <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> A) MS.SHERRY WARD REGARDING PRO-RATING SANITATION BILLS <br /> Mayor Elumbaugh asked for Ms. Ward to come forward to address the council. No one replied <br /> to the request. <br /> B) MR.JAMES BURNETTE TO PRESENT A PETITION AGAINST CAPS ON LOCK AND DAM#1 <br /> Mr.James Burnette addressed the council with concerns about placing wood caps on Lock and <br /> Dam#1. He presented petitions with approximately 150 signatures against the caps. Mr. Burnette said <br /> he and the petitioners were concerned that placing the wood caps would hurt the integrity of the dam <br />
