H) EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> Councilmember McDonald moved to go into executive session and Councilmember <br /> Insell seconded. All voted for. <br /> Upon returning from executive session, Councilmember Krug moved to appoint Mr. Stu <br /> Smith to the Parks and Recreation Commission. Councilmember Matthews seconded <br /> and all voted for. <br /> 1) CEMETERY RESOLUTION <br /> The council considered a cemetery resolution for Ms. Barbara Bullard, Resolution <br /> #2010-103-1 for$200.00. Councilmember Matthews move to adopt and <br /> Councilmember McDonald seconded. All voted for. <br /> J) REVIEW PAID BILLS REPORT <br /> The council reviewed the paid bills report for March 2010. <br /> MAYOR COMMENTS <br /> Mayor Elumbaugh said the bid for the St. Louis Street stoplight rehab project has been <br /> accepted by the Highway Department and the City's remaining share of the project will be <br /> $28,018.71. Councilmember Bryant moved to approve the expenditure and Councilmember <br /> O'Neal seconded. All voted for. <br /> The Mayor mentioned a couple of upcoming dates to remember; April 15th is the <br /> Growing Healthy Communities meeting at City Hall and April 17th is the ribbon cutting <br /> ceremony for the new Community Garden. <br /> Mayor Elumbaugh thanked Home Depot for donating several hand tools and accessories <br /> to the City and Believers' Community Church for their"Servolution" project at Polk Bayou.
