MINUTES OF COUNCIL <br /> MARCH 23, 2010 <br /> The Batesville City Council met in regular session on March 23, at 5:30 PM at the Municipal Building. <br /> Mayor Elumbaugh called the meeting to order. Councilmember Insell gave the invocation. Upon roll call, the <br /> following councilmembers answered present; Tommy Bryant, Margarett Henley, Davy Insell, Fred Krug, <br /> Douglas Matthews, Matt McDonald, Richard O'Neal and David Shetron. Also present were the City Clerk and <br /> the City Attorney. <br /> Councilmember Insell moved to approve the minutes from the previous meeting. Councilmember O'Neal <br /> seconded and all voted for. <br /> Councilmember O'Neal moved to approve the prepared agenda. Councilmember Insell seconded and <br /> all voted for. <br /> CITIZENS COMMENTS <br /> None <br /> UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> None <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> A) SANITATION DEPARTMENT REPORT FROM SUPERVISOR MARTYTHOMPSON <br /> Sanitation Supervisor Mr. Marty Thompson addressed the council with an update for the Sanitation <br /> Department. Mr. Thompson said we recently received the new front loader sanitation truck and the <br /> new chipper truck and both are doing great. He said we had several items he was going to sell on <br /> GovDeals. He is currently working on another recycling grant to hopefully help buy another chipper <br /> truck next year. Mr. Thompson said he got word from the Highway Department that they were going <br /> to upgrade our downtown stoplights all to LED lights. <br /> B) CONSIDER ACCEPTANCE OF BIDS FOR INDEPENDENT AUDIT <br />
