Councilmember Insell made a motion to accept the bid and Councilmember O'Neal <br /> seconded and all voted for. City Attorney Scott Stalker read the resolution in full to <br /> authorize the equipment lease-purchase and Councilmember Bryant made a motion to <br /> adopt the resolution. Councilmember Insell seconded and all voted for. The Resolution <br /> was given #2209-12-1-R. <br /> The Mayor told the council that the bids for the new chipper were also opened and the <br /> low bid was $ 63,400. The City will receive a grant in the amount of$30,000 and has <br /> $37,000 from the sale of a used sanitation truck. Councilmember O'Neal made a <br /> motion to accept the bid and Councilmember Henley seconded and all voted for. <br /> Mayor Elumbaugh told the Council that the City's financial year end is looking good and <br /> ask the Council for their thoughts on an end of year pay incentive in the amount of$300 <br /> for full-time and $150 for perment part-time. Councilmen Bryant ask to speak and read <br /> a statement in favor of the pay incentives. After his statement he made a motion to <br /> give each full-time employee $300 and each part-time employee $150. Councilmember <br /> O'Neal seconded and all voted for. <br /> The Mayor told the Council that the insurance committee met in regards to health <br /> insurance for next year and it was the recommendation from the committee to go with <br /> the Arkansas Municipal League effective January 1, 2010. Councilmember Matthews <br /> made a motion to switch to the Municipal League and Councilmember Insell seconded. <br /> All voted for. <br /> LIAISON REPORTS <br /> None <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS <br />
