MINUTES OF COUNCIL <br /> NOVEMBER 9, 2009 <br /> The Batesville City Council met in regular session on November 9, at 5:30 PM at <br /> the Municipal Building. Mayor Rick Elumbaugh presided over the meeting. <br /> Councilmember Henley gave the invocation. Upon roll call the following <br /> councilmembers answered present: Tommy Bryant, Margarett Henley, Davy Insell, <br /> Fred Krug, Doug Matthews, Matt McDonald, Richard O'Neal, and David Shetron. The <br /> City Clerk was also present. City Attorney Scott Stalker was absent. <br /> Councilmember O'Neal moved to approve the minutes from the previous meeting <br /> and Councilmember Shetron seconded. All voted for. <br /> Councilmember Shetron moved to approve the prepared agenda as amended. <br /> Councilmember Bryant seconded and all voted for. <br /> CITIZENS COMMENTS <br /> None <br /> UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> None <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> A) RECOGNIZE THE LADY PIONEERS CROSS COUNTRY TEAM <br /> The Mayor read a proclamation recognizing the Lady Pioneers Cross Country <br /> Team for the recent AAAAA State Championship. The Lady Pioneers have won the <br /> State title for six years in a row. Coach Diane Treadway introduced each team member <br /> and Mayor Elumbaugh presented them with a proclamation. <br /> B) CONSIDER A TAX BACK RESOLUTION FOR TOWNSENDS, INC. <br />
