MINUTES OF COUNCIL <br /> SEPTEMBER 8, 2009 <br /> The Batesville City Council met in regular session on September 8, at 5:30 <br /> PM at the Municipal Building. Mayor Rick Elumbaugh presided over the meeting. <br /> Councilmember Matthews gave the invocation. Upon roll call the following <br /> councilmembers answered present: Tommy Bryant, Margarett Henley, Davy <br /> Insell, Fred Krug, Doug Matthews, Matt McDonald, Richard O'Neal, and David <br /> Shetron. The City Clerk was also present. City Attorney Scott Stalker was <br /> absent. <br /> Councilmember Shetron moved to approve the minutes from the previous <br /> meeting and Councilmember Insell seconded. All voted for. <br /> Councilmember Shetron moved to approve the prepared agenda. <br /> Councilmember Henley seconded and all voted for. <br /> CITIZENS COMMENTS <br /> None <br /> UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> None <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> A) PRESENT PROCLAMATION FOR FETAL ALCOHOL SPECTRUM <br /> DISORDERS AWARENESS DAY <br /> Mayor Elumbaugh read a proclamation declaring September 9, 2009 as <br /> Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders Awareness Day. <br /> B) RECOGNIZE ASSISTANT FIRE CHIEF BRENT GLEGHORN <br />
