Mayor Elumbaugh recognized Assistant Fire Chief Brent Gleghorn and <br /> presented him with a certificate for being inducted into the Arkansas Firefighters <br /> Hall of Fame. Mr. Gleghorn said he was honored to be inducted into the Hall of <br /> Fame and said there were many firefighters across the state that were more <br /> worthy than he to be recognized. <br /> C) ENGINEER'S REPORT <br /> City Engineer Damon Johnson addressed the council with his engineer's <br /> report. He reported on the status on several project throughout the City. Mr. <br /> Johnson said the Water Treatment Plant took a lightning strike during a recent <br /> storm and knocked out several controls. He said they are running the controls <br /> manually until they are repaired. <br /> D) EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> Councilmember Bryant moved to go into executive session. <br /> Councilmember O'Neal seconded and all voted for. <br /> Upon returning from executive session, the following were nominated to <br /> the City Appeals Board; Butch Duncan, Zach Mobley, Chad Sisco, James <br /> Boothby, Jack Stevenson, Mike Schmidt and Steve Case. Councilmember <br /> Shetron moved to approve the nominations and Councilmember Bryant <br /> seconded. All voted for. <br /> The following were nominated to the City Tree Board; Larry Morris, Jimmy <br /> Wallace, Gail Harley, Brian Langston and Johnny Abbott.
