MINUTES OF COUNCIL <br /> MARCH 24, 2009 <br /> The Batesville City Council met in regular session on March 24, at 5:30 PM at the <br /> Municipal Building. Mayor Elumbaugh called the meeting to order. Councilmember <br /> Matthews gave the invocation. Upon roll call, the following council answered present; <br /> Thomas Bryant, Margarett Henley, Davy Insell, Fred Krug, Doug Matthews, Matt <br /> McDonald, Richard O'Neal and David Shetron. The City Attorney and City Clerk were <br /> also present. <br /> Councilmember Insell moved to approve the minutes from the previous meeting. <br /> Councilmember Shetron seconded and all voted for. <br /> Councilmember Matthews moved to approve the prepared agenda as amended. <br /> Councilmember Bryant seconded and all voted for. <br /> CITIZENS COMMENTS <br /> None <br /> UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> None <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> (A) RECOGNIZE MR. DAVID McQUARY FOR FUND RAISING EFFORTS <br /> Mayor Elumbaugh recognized Mr. David McQuary for his community service in <br /> raising funds for schools, churches and local orginizations. Mr. McQuary recently <br /> raised over $4,000. for the Special Olympics Polar Bear Plunge. <br /> (B)MR. ROBERT SANDERS REGARDING SEWER OVERFLOW RUINING <br /> EQUIPMENT <br />
