B) CONSIDER A TAX BACK RESOLUTION FOR SCROLL <br /> COMPRESSORS, LLC <br /> Councilmember Shetron introduced a resolution to participate in the Tax <br /> Back Program for Scroll Compressors, LLC. City Attorney Scott Stalker read the <br /> resolution in full. Councilmember Terrell moved to adopt the resolution and <br /> Councilmember Insell seconded. All voted for. The resolution was given #2008- <br /> 09-01-R. <br /> C) ENGINEER'S REPORT <br /> City Engineer Damon Johnson addressed the council with his council <br /> report. Mr. Johnson said the sewer line project for UACCB has been put on hold. <br /> He said there was a problem with the depth of the proposed sewer lines and their <br /> engineers were working on the solution. Mr. Johnson gave brief updates on the <br /> Water Treatment and Wastewater Plants. He also told the council about an <br /> equipment auction that will take place next week in Mississippi that has a 2007 <br /> sanitation truck with approximately 3,000 miles on it for sale. After a discussion, <br /> Councilmember McDonald moved to send Sanitation Supervisor Marty <br /> Thompson to the auction. Councilmember Carpenter seconded and all voted for. <br /> D) PAID BILLS REPORT <br /> The council reviewed the paid bills report for August, 2008. <br /> MAYOR COMMENTS <br /> Mayor Elumbaugh gave the council a copy of the recommendation for the <br /> city Planning Commission to return the lower part of Main Street from Central <br /> Avenue to State Street back to a two way street. The Mayor said such an action <br />
