Councilmember Shetron moved to have the City <br /> Attorney draft an ordinance to be considered at the next meeting. <br /> Councilmember McDonald seconded and all voted for. <br /> The Mayor reminded the council of the September 30th budget meeting <br /> and said he hoped to have the architecture drawing of the new fire station for the <br /> council to review before the budget meeting. <br /> The Mayor said he is working on how to repair the Ramsey Mountain sign <br /> and may have some citizen donations to help in the restoration. <br /> Mayor Elumbaugh told the council that the proposed '/4 Economic <br /> Development Sales Tax will not have a special election in October. He said that <br /> there was a mistake in the ordinance so it looks like it will have to be put off until <br /> after the first of the year. The Mayor said he was concerned about having two <br /> sales tax elections after the first of the year and the council may want to consider <br /> combining the Economic Development tax with what ever the city proposes for <br /> wastewater and city improvements. <br /> LIAISON REPORTS <br /> None <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> Councilmember Krug said he had a citizen call him and said the city <br /> sanitation department had helped this citizen out during a hard time and they <br /> wanted to thank them for their hard work. <br />
